Travel Guidance for Winter Break 2024

The Center for Immigration Services & Support (ISS) recommends that students, scholars, researchers, faculty and staff that hold a non-immigrant or other visa re-enter the U.S. prior to January 20, 2025 to avoid any possible interruption to their travel. This guidance is a precaution and is not based in any specific guidance or regulation from the current presidential administration or government agencies.

Given the possible changes that can occur on the first day of a presidential administration (January 20, 2025) we are advising that people return from travels abroad prior to this date. We are not speculating or assuming any specific changes, but out of an abundance of caution to limit possible delays or interruption in arrival to the U.S.
